What requirements does the simulator need?

An operational system consists of the following technical components:

  1. HTC VIVE PRO 2 (Full Kit) VR system. Alternatively: HTC VIVE Focus Vision with Wired Streaming Kit.
  2. PC / laptop that meets the system requirements for SteamVR applications and for the VIVE.
  3. A screen to display the simulation for the participants/instructor.
  4. An approx. 1x1 m floor plate for mounting the simulator.
  5. An internet connection (WLAN, LAN, mobile).
  6. A credit card 

 

How does delivery take place and what delivery times can I expect?
We deliver our control console throughout Europe via a freight forwarding agent. The delivery time is usually 6-8 weeks. The delivery costs are between 100-250 € depending on the distance. Exact delivery costs are calculated in the offer.
Can I earn money with the simulator?
Yes, our commercial software licenses allow you to use the software for training purposes or to rent it out.
How can I test the simulator?

For a product demonstration, please make an appointment with sales@xrnaut.com.
We generally only carry out demonstrations in the Cologne/Bonn area (Germany).

Do I need the steering console?

The control console is indispensable for meaningful training, as the participants in VR would otherwise have no way of controlling the ship. Only the combination of control console and VR enables true practical training.

Nevertheless, the simulator can also be operated on a PC (without VR and steering console). This can be handy to familiarize yourself with the training units or to mark up images or videos.
